Anne
Our Emma Sophia, Cape Town

On 2nd of June 2015, we rushed to the hospital late in the evening, we were a bit worried about the baby. Just after 12am they told us in room 1, our baby boy died. The 5th of June 4:58am he was born in room 2. About 12 hours later, we had to greet our baby boy for the last time. Everything has changed, not as we expected. What we have learnt in this time is, Jesus promised that He will never leave us. He didn’t.

On the 25th of October 2016, we are back in the hospital, in room 1. My gynaecologist induced me, nothing happens, except that we know our baby girl is alive. 26th of October, after checking everything, Emma still wants to stay inside my tummy, we were moved out of the labour ward for a while. The next available labour room was room 2. This time around we met our baby girl, at 3am on the 27th of October. She is alive and well. She came quietly, just looking at us with big eyes. Our eyes was probably just as big, we can’t believe what just happened… we are the parents of a living child.

I am sharing six weeks of Jesus’ faithfulness, His goodness, life in abundance and more promises that were fulfilled. Welcome Emma, we love you for you!
