When Hester booked me for this shoot, I was so excited to see her blonde curly hair, blue-eyed girl again. (Our previous shoot.) When I arrived at their home in Vredehoek, there were two little princesses waiting for me. I just loved René’s facial expressions and how much they love dancing. Seeing them dance took me back to my childhood. That same day when I got home, I googled ‘Kaalvoet Sokkie’ by Kurt Darren and my one year old and I had a party at home.
